Isle of Man Visitors and Their Retro Clubs

10th February 2017 //  by Ged

Whilst on an Isle of Man Golf Tour, don’t be alarmed if you have a classic Ping Zing or original Callaway Big Bertha in the bag and it gets snapped. I’m a big fan of retro golf clubs and it gives great pleasure to see some kit from the 80’s an 90’s still in use.

From time to time, I’ll post an image of a relic club that manages to find it’s way to our shores.

Here is one from the archives.

The classic Bronty Chipmaster – designed by Emily for use around the tight greenside lies often found in Yorkshire. Please note the Taylor Made Burner with bubble shaft…. and yes it is a 9 wood! Don’t you just love this game?
