The Isle of Man/Guernsey ‘airbridge’ delivered many happy golfers from our friends in the Channel Islands.
Our visitors had a lot to say about the course,
From the moment we arrived Ged looked after our group, picked us up from the airport down to the hotel. Each day he collected us from the hotel and straight to the fantastic courses, we had 4 x rounds and it was a brilliant trip. I’d certainly use him again for our next trip.

Ged recently organised our golf trip to the IOM and it was fantastic. Not only are the courses excellent but Ged’s organisation, knowledge and friendliness made the trip. I give Ged 6 stars!

We are writing to show our appreciation of how well we were looked after having booked a weeks golf holiday through Ged.
His arrangements on our behalf were second to none, and all we had to do was turn up at the right golf course at the allotted time. We appreciated his help in acquiring a hire car and trolleys for the week of our stay.
The Hotel he booked for us was in a central location, our rooms were great and breakfast had plenty of choice.
We were able to eat out in the evening without having to drive, the restaurants were all within walking distance. A particular mention of the Titan, The Meating and the Claremont.
The golf clubs and Pro shops were all ready primed of our arrival.
At Peel we were welcomed after our round by friendly members and the steward was very accommodating and made us sandwiches to order.
Ramsey we were greeted by Garry who took us to show us the first tee, and point out the hazards of the hole. ( but we still got lost) and during the round our trolleys blew over several times in the gale, we were very appreciative of the many places to shelter so we finished without getting soaked. We were greeted afterwards by a member who had lived in Guernsey previously and we had a good chat about old times.
At Castletown the weather was at its best, and we saw the tops of the hills for the first time. Glorious views and a very testing course, especially the new 18 th with a blind shot to the green. We could not resist having a late lunch as the home made food was delicious and we sat outside in the sunshine.
Due to the forecast for the next day, we did not want to miss the chance to play Rowany, so we moved swiftly and played most of it before dusk. The eighth is a spectacular hole not to be missed, we had all four balls on the green, but finding our way down to the green was an adventure as there were very few people around to ask the way. It was our best scoring course as the greens were in great shape.
The air bridge has proved to be a great opportunity to visit IOM with the bonus being a short direct flight. This has opened up another destination for the sporting fraternity to enjoy and hopefully with the possibility of direct flights to be continued?
We wanted to take the opportunity to golf in the IOM, so I googled golf holidays there, and Ged’s Isle of Man Golfing Holidays appeared was a wonderful week and we hope to return again.

Lloyd G and his 15 pals had a great time here on the Island, they were great fun as seen here
The Grand Finale at Castletown provided a fitting end to a memorable week.
The flight service provided by Aurigny was excellent and on time. The Isle of Man visitor economy benefitted greatly from the stream of visitors. New acquaintances and friendships were made and return visits promised.
